Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 June 2026
The short version. CreatorCam is designed to keep your content on your device. Your recordings are stored locally on your iPhone, we don't require an account, and we don't sell your personal information. This policy explains the details.
This Privacy Policy describes how CreatorIQ Labs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the CreatorCam mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information stored on your device
CreatorCam is a recording tool. The content it creates lives on your device:
- Recordings. Videos you capture in Front, Dual and Screen modes are saved to a Recordings folder within the App on your device. They remain there until you delete them or remove the App.
- Audio. When you grant microphone access, audio is captured as part of your recordings. If you deny microphone access, recordings are saved without an audio track.
- Teleprompter scripts. Text you enter in the teleprompter is stored locally so it is available between sessions.
- App settings. Your preferences (such as the selected mode and scroll speed) are stored locally on the device.
We do not upload, transmit, or have access to your recordings, audio, or scripts. This content is not sent to our servers.
2. Device permissions we request
The App asks for the following iOS permissions, used only for the purposes described:
- Camera — to record video in all modes.
- Microphone — to capture audio with your recordings. Optional; the App works without it.
- Screen Recording (Broadcast) — to capture your screen in Screen mode using the system broadcast extension.
- Photos — only when you choose to save a recording to your photo library.
You can review or change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings › CreatorCam. Denying a permission may limit related features but does not otherwise affect the App.
3. Sharing your recordings
You control if and how your recordings leave the App. When you use Share, Save to Photos, or AirDrop, your content is handled by Apple's system features and any destination you choose (for example, the Files app, Photos, or another app). Their handling of that content is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the App's core features.
- We do not access, view, or store the contents of your recordings or scripts.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Face and biometric data. CreatorCam does not collect, store, process, or share any face data or biometric information. The App does not perform facial recognition, face mapping, or face tracking. The cameras are used only to record video that you initiate, and all recordings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. You can delete your recordings at any time.
5. Analytics and diagnostics
If the App uses Apple-provided services such as crash reporting or aggregated, anonymized usage analytics, that information is handled in accordance with Apple's policies and does not include the contents of your recordings. [Edit this section to reflect any analytics or third-party SDKs your build actually includes — e.g. Firebase, App Store Connect analytics — and add them to the list below.]
6. Children's privacy
CreatorCam is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.
7. Your rights and choices
Because your content is stored on your device, you stay in control of it at all times:
- Access and deletion. You can view and delete any recording from the in-app Library at any time. Deleting the App removes all recordings, scripts, and settings it stored on your device.
- Withdraw consent. You can turn off camera, microphone, screen-recording, or photo-library access at any time in iOS Settings › CreatorCam. Withdrawing a permission stops the related use going forward.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA — including the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Because we do not collect or hold your personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device; for anything else, contact us and we will respond as required by law.
- No sale of personal information. We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
8. Data security
Your recordings are stored on your device and protected by iOS device security, including the protections tied to your device passcode and encryption. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but we design the App to minimize the data it handles.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App.
10. Contact us

Note for the site owner: Add your registered [Mailing Address] and review Sections 5–7 against your actual build (analytics SDKs, jurisdiction) before publishing. This template reflects an on-device, no-account app; update it if that changes. To satisfy Apple Guideline 5.1: (1) add this policy's public URL in App Store Connect → App Privacy → Privacy Policy; (2) make it reachable from inside the app too; and (3) complete the App Privacy "nutrition label" questionnaire so it matches what's written here. This is a template, not legal advice — have it reviewed by counsel before publishing.
